Small Big Steps!

On the fascinating journey of our children's growth and development, we often underestimate the transformative power of small big steps and changes in our home.

At Montessori Calmecac, however, we understand that these small adjustments can have a significant impact on the success of the Montessori method our children receive at school. One of the fundamental pillars of the Montessori method is establishing clear and consistent limits at home and at school.

These limits provide a safe, structured framework in which children can explore, learn and grow autonomously. By setting appropriate limits, we give our children the opportunity to develop skills such as self-discipline, responsibility and respect for themselves and for others.

It is essential to recognize that limits are not imposed in an authoritarian way, but are set with love and understanding.

By clearly communicating expectations and consequences, we help our children understand the limits and make informed decisions about their behavior.

In addition, by modeling respectful and empathetic behavior, we lay the foundations for harmonious coexistence at home and at school.

That is why we invite you to join us at Montessori Calmecac for a special talk titled "Small Big Steps."

In this session, we will explore the importance of limits at home in supporting the Montessori method our children receive at school.

We will discover practical strategies for setting limits effectively and building an enriching learning environment for our children.

The talk will take place on Thursday, March 21 at the Montessori Calmecac facilities. We look forward to having you with us so that, together, we can learn and grow on this exciting parenting journey!
